The political/regulator class continues to enforce regulations against new, small manufacturing starts on private properties, to tax, to fee and to push in politics to keep the pile of debt flowing to itself. It's socialist economic wizards continue the flows of debt to it.
It fears an uprising by the unemployed: those who would otherwise again include the real "makers," from mechanics to machinists to builders. The remainder of the default process will help to solve the problem. Then, we'll see the real "zombies" in action (those now insanely convincing themselves that they'll continue to get those incomes from big government while knowing that the end of their new socialism may be near).
