In addition to the costs in terms of jobs, depressed wages, and increased welfare costs, there are electoral consequences. 87% of the LEGAL IMMIGRANTS are minorities as defined by the USG. Immigrants and minorities vote two to one Democrat.

We have just had the two largest decades of immigration in American history. The numbers are astounding, which accounts for the fact that we have the lowest labor participation rates in 38 years. We have a labor surplus.
