“In-N-Out Burger topped the list.”
I’m really lucky to have a Chick Fil A and In N Out within a block of each other, at walking distance. McD’s is only good with their value burgers like the Mcdouble for $1.39. You cant beat that if you’re a student on a tight budget.
And here in Texas, in addition we have What-a-Burger.
They were a good value at 99 cents. At a buck fifty (with tax) not so much. The dollar drinks are a good deal, but people just stop for the drinks, and skip the food, which defeats the point of a loss-leader.
The best in the west and my understanding is the lady that is the CEO is one of the wealthiest women in America.
We have a Chick Fil A NEXT TO an In N Out NEXT TO a Rubios.

Triple Cheeseburger for Two Bucks.
My experience with In-and Out Burgers is that every food item I have tried is inferior in texture, taste and temperature to an average McDonalds offering.
When I can, I patronize local burger joints (shout out here for Chop House Burger in Arlington TX), but when my only choice is a chain operation, Ill be found at a Whataburger (when in Texas) or a Five Guys Burgers and Fries when in exile.
