John Boehner May Hold House Vote to Subpoena Hillary Clinton’s Email Server
The Washington Times ^ | Thursday, April 23, 2015 | By David Sherfinski -

House Speaker John A. Boehner said Thursday that the full House may have to vote to subpoena former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s email server, as the chairman of the Benghazi investigative committee officially called on her to testify twice to his panel.

The invitation by Rep. Trey Gowdy, South Carolina Republican and chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, sets up a test for Mrs. Clinton, the former first lady and newly announced Democratic presidential candidate, whose attorney has said she wants to appear before the committee only once, in public.

Mr. Gowdy asked Mrs. Clinton to turn over the server to a neutral third party, but she declined. Mr. Gowdy said his committee probably lacks the ability to subpoena the server, but the whole House could — and Mr. Boehner hinted that “all options are on the table.”

“If we need to do that, we may have to,” he said in an interview on Bloomberg Television. “It’s important for the American people to know the truth about what happened in Benghazi, and it’s important to know what was going on [at] the State Department before, during and after the events that occurred in Libya.”

Mr. Boehner said Mrs. Clinton “violated the law” in setting up a private email system to conduct official business and that it “goes against every transparency issue that the president likes to tout.”

If adults don’t get custody of the server - yesterday - Boehner and the GOPe is to blame.

My bet is that the server is at the bottom of the North Atlantic.

At the bottom of the Marianas Trench would be my guess.

This is nothing but theater to give the impression that there isn’t criminal collusion between the parties.

Speaking of "parties"...welcome to the UNIPARTY.

Boehner WOULD go the way of Kantor, except the voters of his district are in love with the idea that THEIR boy is the Speaker of the House.

If Mark Steyn is looking for another constitutional amendment, how about this: Any person holding the office of Senate Majority Leader, Speaker of the House, Senate Minority Leader, House Majority Leader or House Minority Leader can only be re-elected to their respective congressional seats by means of a national election.

Why would that sniveling little Boner want to get her server, anyway? After all, the Clintons are “good people” - or so he says. Why should bad things happen to “good people”?

...Mrs. Clinton, the former first lady and newly announced Democratic presidential candidate, whose attorney has said she wants to appear before the committee only once, in public.

So, "Mrs. Clinton", a democrat is telling Boehner, a republican what the rules are. How sweet that she is being so cooperative.

We had a sitting Majority Leader as our Congressman and we also knew what a weasel he was and was planning to sell us out on amnesty if he survived the primary and we booted him out.
Eric Cantor was his name, fake conservatism was his game.

We have term limits in our hands if we want to throw the weasels out.

boner is an a**. Shouldn’t he have sent police for it when Issah became aware of it several months ago. It is “Close the door...the horses have already escaped”. What bluster. What a spineless “leader”. What a pathetic joke.

Boehner acquires Hillary Clinton's server!

The Speaker, satisfied with what has been turned over, stumbled to the microphone, put down his cocktail and declared "Case closed!"

Looks like it's safe for Johnny Boenher to come out of hiding now like the Chihuahuas emerge snarling from under the sofa once the big dogs have passed by. When we get stories in Salon and the NY Times about how brave he is they'll only be confirmation that the fix was in.

Funniest/Silliest Headline Ever! John Boehner is the Epitome of a Progressive Leftist Wuss. A Liquor-Addled Get-Along with DemocRATs Pansy, consumed with retaining Power. HE doesn’t have the balls to bring this to a Vote. His suggestion that he might take this action, is AKIN to Lindsey Graham TRULY believing HE could become P.O.T.U.S. It’s all B.S. from here-on-out from Boehner, he’s almost as disgusting a human as Karl Rove + ALL his tentacles are. Almost.
