Except that that stretegy relies on a field of many conservatives against one RINO. the Christies, Grahmnestys, Patakis, Snyders, Kasiches, and the like are going to make it more difficult to run the Romney playbook.
Wouldn’t it be easier at this point to list the Republicans who aren’t running for president?
He will get the same vote I gave him for governor. Nothing, wont vote for him.
Not good, saturate the voting pool with candidates and the Homers whose choice never got the nomination will likely stay home as they’ve done before..
Just filter out all the full-term Governors, and you’re good to go. No Bush, Christie, Huckabee, Pataki, etc.

And yet they think they’re so smart! Like those drivers who bail out of what appears to be a hopelessly long line to the next traffic light, only to have it start moving again the minute they get out of line.

Reminds me of the time I was in a supermarket check out line behind maybe 5 people with more behind me. A lady arrived and grabbed my cart and said come over to this register that she was going to open up. Well, I followed her as did those behind me. It took her 5 minutes to get register working with the paper tape roll while the line I was forced to leave emptied out and other people arrived and checked out while we were still standing there.......LOL!

While the old guys I play softball with then drink beer and talk politics after our pick-up games say I should run, none of them are willing to be my choice for VP or contribute to my possible campaign........
I don’t assume anything any more. I got tired of learning from my mistakes. Now, I don’t make nearly as many mistakes. Maybe I shouldn’t assume that either!

Knowing how any GOP candidate is given the full rectal exam, they'll find out I'm a die hard TWD fan and that will be the end of my run.........
But don't despair, TWD will return in October.......and that's more important than any attempt at a 2016 presidential run........
Not that it matters and being completely off topic, Chickadees have finally decided to nest in a birdhouse I installed on the side of my house........I consider that a victory that is more important then my eventual declining of the Presidential nomination..........

This morning I heard a cat fight on my front porch. I went out, and the cat from across the road, a big gray tom, was menacing another one I haven’t seen before. I looked the gray cat in the face, pointed toward his home, and said, “Stop misbehaving, now. “ AND HE WENT. But boy, did he give me a dirty look over his shoulder, LOL!
I’m going through TWD withdrawal, but I won’t wish it here too soon...I know you like the hot weather. :D
Boy this is certainly off topic but I'm in a quandry.
Across the street is a house where two cats have taken up residence under the back deck over this past winter. I've been placing a bowl of food on my front porch and the small short haired cat has been feeding out of it.
I very seldom see the other cat which is a larger, long haired cat.
Evidently the larger long haired cat has just had a litter of kittens and she made her home in the bottom of the chimney of the house behind the one with the deck. I went over there and saw the little guys looking out at me and it literally broke my heart.
I've spent the afternoon trying to find cat rescue organizations to help but to no avail. The local Humane Society in Shelby Twp. claims to be a "no kill" facility but has nothing but bad reviews on every aspect of their clinic. They don't shelter, they kill.....
I tried calling a feral cat rescue organization and got a message that they were no longer accepting feral cats since they are all filled up........
My niece is a Vet in Rochester and I just got off the phone with her and she said she would check with her office and see if they have any contacts that would come and claim the mother cat and her kittens..........
Screw politics, this is really a depressing bummer.........
Oh, wow. Those kittens would kill me.
Reading your post, I didn’t have a lot of hope until I got to the end. I would think your niece is the best bet for help. Hopefully she can come through with something.
