Hillary Clinton: Force Christians to Change Their Religious Views to Support Abortion
Life News ^ | 4/27/15 | Steven Ertelt

Posted on 04/27/2015 9:47:03 AM PDT by wagglebee

In a speech last week, Hillary Clinton lamented that too many women are supposedly denied abortions. The Democratic presidential candidate came under fire for that pro-abortion comment, but she also is drawing widespread condemnation for another remark in the speech.

The comment has Hillary Clinton essentially saying that Christians must be forced to change their religious views to accommodate abortions.

“Far too many women are still denied critical access to reproductive health care and safe childbirth. All the laws we’ve passed don’t count for much if they’re not enforced,” Clinton said, using the euphemism for abortion.

“Rights have to exist in practice — not just on paper,” Clinton argued. “Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will. And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed,:

That is not going over well with pro-life advocates.

Bill Donohue of the Catholic League let Hillary have it in his remarks to LifeNews.

“It was not surprising that Hillary Clinton, who strongly opposes a ban on partial-birth abortion, would tell her feminist audience that she supports Planned Parenthood. What was surprising was her comment on the need to change religious beliefs on abortion,” he said. “In others words, Hillary has a problem with the Catholic Church’s teachings on abortionthey must be changed.”

“Never before have we seen a presidential candidate be this bold about directly confronting the Catholic Church’s teachings on abortion. It’s time for Hillary to take the next step and tell us exactly what she plans to do about delivering on her pledge. Not only would practicing Catholics like to know, so would Evangelicals, Orthodox Jews, Muslims, and all those who value life from conception to natural death,” Donohue added.

David Ripley of Idaho Chooses Life also condemned her remarks.

“We have known for some time that abortion would be Hillary’s primary campaign message,” he said. “What made this particular speech unique was Hillary’s bold declaration that God needed to get His act together on this whole abortion thing. It was past time to update the Ten Commandments.”

“Now, of course, most of those “religious beliefs” are based upon clear teachings within Scripture that teach us to hold children precious, to sacrifice ourselves for others – and, above all, not to kill the innocent. What Clinton and her comrades on the Left do not seem to understand is that our religious beliefs are not a matter of personal opinion, but, rather, one of submission to our Creator,” Ripley continued. “Clinton is not the first self-proclaimed leader to shake a fist at the Almighty. One can presume that He is not particularly impressed; though His heart is undoubtedly grieved.”

“And we can all be grieved that a person of such arrogance stands a chance of becoming president over this great nation,” he concluded.

Their attempts to destroy the First Amendment will inevitably come against the Second.

For ethical reasons, the scientists that do research on mice are required to anesthetize the mice fetus’s (what in the heck is the plural of fetus?) prior to extraction if they are beyond the halfway mark of gestation because it is widely accepted that they can feel pain at that stage.

What does that say about us, as a human race? So, so sad that mice babies are more important than human babies.

Look to New York City as an example of how this works, in practice.

Iirc NYC has some kind of mandate that MD students on scholarship/grant pay their dues to society by performing abortions.

Hillary Clinton undoubtedly doesn’t want low-information voters to know that the states have never amended the Constitution to expressly make having an abortion a right, such a “right” wrongly legislated from the bench by activist justices imo.

Regarding activist justices, consider that if the 17th Amendment had never been ratified then there would probably have been all different faces on the Supreme Court when Roe v. Wade was decided, likely state sovereignty-respecting justices with family values. Such justices would probably have acknowledged that having an abortion is constitutionally unprotected and have sided with Texas in that case.

The 17th Amendment needs to disappear.

These people (Marxist/socialist/progressive democRATs) think that we will go willingly into the reeducation camps.

I got some bad news for them...

The problem is that people want to have abortions as a means of contraception. No thank you, especially with the enormous medical complications of doing one in the first place.

Funny, I read that as "... reduction camps."

She sat in the State Department on her big butt selling Uranium to Russia/Iran while hundreds of millions of Christians are being slaughtered by Muslims around the globe.

Why are Christians in America so quiet about this massive slaughter of Christians - genocide in some areas of the world? They stopped joining a US military that turns a blind eye to the slaughter of Christians while it condemns and persecutes the few Christians remaining in the military service. Why are Christian Americans silent?

And yet, many will vote for her because... Well I don’t know.

She is the probable next president. Obambi was bad enough.

Really? When?

For the past 40 years they’ve been pushing and what does the Church (Body of Christ) do? Just turns that cheek again.

I figure with when the SCOTUS drops the hammer on us in June making it illegal to deny homosexual weddings and the like that Real Christians are going to be in for a treat when it comes to raising their children, finding & attending a true God-Fearing Church—on the pain of possible severe penalties (whatever those might be, use your imagination).

Make no mistake, everything from the left is a direct Satanic attack on God’s people here on Earth. This is why you’ll never hear the left condemn Islam. They fight for the same “father” (though they’ll deny it). It doesn’t serve their cause to fight against one another spiritually speaking. They have their common enemy—it’s us and Israel.

She wants us to shut up about opposing abortion.

She doesn’t approve of us expressing our Pro-Life view point.

She also discussed amending the Constitution to limit Free Speech, under the guise of limiting the influence of money.
(as though the Libs would obey those rules)

Without the Second Amendment and a pair of balls there is no First Amendment or any other Amendment.

Liberalism attempts to pass its folly by wording the questions madly.

As if there was a question in our hearts if truth should change point of view. Accepting that question instantly causes confusion in the persecuted under the demonic like inquisition.

There is truth, and whatever they make the dead vote for them. Truly, this is automatic trolling of the inquired.

Nest one not listen to Hillary for sanity’s sake. Let us imagine an Obama with a vagina raving mad on TV, not even polished by a teleprompter.

I have seen crazies like this in subways with people incapable of saying a thing, like the GOP congress.
