No, it is not the governor’s problem
The mayor dithered until she saw the CVS burning and the police car being trashed before running to the governor to bail her out.
The governor was prepared. he got the troops out within just a few hours which could not have happened if they weren’t pretty much ready to go.

How about armed with job applications for McDonalds? That will make the rioters shriek in horror and run away.
This is what happens when Democrats are in control — they reap this violence on those that chose to work and live in these cities...a great example of why I left Chicago last year - and am very happy I did so....that place has the same potential — and will stem from the south side taking the red line north into the city to begin the riots!!!
I don’t doubt there are outside agitators but that doesn’t mean the locals have to follow them.
Detroit Police chief Craig has the right method. Anybody who escalates beyond carrying a sign or chanting in protest is immediately cut out of the herd and removed from the situation.

Those who THINK the NG will control the streets should think again. I DO NOT see the NG being equipped with live ammunition, nor do I see the NG adequately trained to control the wild animal tactics of the street rats. Most NG members are your average citizen who have not been adequately trained to do the job of the police. I believe they are asking too much of the NG for this dangerous assignment.

Dunno about #3 but the other 2 *were* huge issues to those kids.
One night, I had to come in at 2 am and convince them I was a “sensitive”, and reassure them that the house, that for some crazy reason, had them all spooked that night, was “clear” of ghosts.
