The cops have orders not to shoot the individuals who are throwing rocks at them, and who are setting fire to buildings and cars. Meanwhile, cops are shooting old men in nursing homes and boys with squirt guns.

Yep! And if you think that it is bad now, wait ten years from now. These will be looked back upon as the “good ole years”. One does not fight evil by hiding from it or ignoring it. One does not attempt to appease a hostile [to you] culture by trying to blend in with it, nor by being ashamed of and hating who you are.
