On MSNBC's coverage of Baltimore on Tuesday afternoon, network anchor Al Sharpton denounced last night's rioting in the city but also said we cannot "tolerate" those on the "far right" who "may not care" about Freddie Gray.
AL SHARPTON: The fact is that we cannot let the looting and rioting become used by those that might want to justify over and overly aggressive policing. And two, to lose in the process of the discussion, the fact that this is about Freddie Gray and justice for he and his family. I tell a lot of young people that we cannot tolerate those on the far right that may not care about Freddie Gray....

I’m trying to understand what rioting, looting and burning of cars and stores has to do with Freddie? I’m sorry he dies, and I didn’t know him. But to destroy property doesn’t send a message of reconciliation or one of understanding and regret. It does send a message of hate and revenge, like retribution. Do these people think they are at war against the people of Baltimore? Kind of like what ISIS is doing in Syria and in Iraq? Are these folks really fundamentalist insurgents?
I don’t know if your list is legit or not. It’s the internet and all that. I’ll look into it. But for the benefit of the doubt, if true, that kid should be alive and healthy in a penetentary for the rest of his life. Had he been in jail, he’d be alive today.

the truth i known...we all know that he was in the process of turning his life around....he had probably enrolled in a local vocational school and was headed toward a promising career in arc welding....then the racist cop broke his back...sad.
