No matter what, the liberal view is that racism and discrminiation are the reasons for problems in our cities. Not bad personal behavior, not the toxic baby mama culture, not the toxic gang culture, not the toxic ghetto culture which poisons life in so many cities. These issues are never discussed.
I doubt it will happen here. Our state is much more Second Amendment Friendly.

It requires two things.
It requires a special culture, a large percentage of indolent existing on welfare, having no education, no skills, a monumental sense of entitlement, and a primitive culture existing in a predator-prey environment.
The second requirement is an enabling system run by "elected" criminals from the same culture, immune from the laws that apply to the working taxpayers, with an endless checkbook throwing money at the growing problem.

A temporary (historically) stable system with a tax base consisting of very large businesses generating more revenue than can possibly be used wisely, and passing the "costs" on to the country at large. Invisible permanent "wealth."

But there is discrimination, but in my view most of it is based on the behavior of our Black Community as a whole. The days of it being based solely on skin color are largely gone. Nothing is going to change until Blacks accept responsibility for their actions and the start policing their own. An by that I mean ratting out the trash in their own society and seeing to it that they are prosecuted and removed. Bing poor doesn’t meat being criminal.

I carried a Thompson in the Nam for awhile. Real boat anchor but, damn, could it chop brush.
Then I found an M-3. A little lighter but it still chopped through brush like a hot knife through butter.
Went back to an M14 though as it worked just as well in heavy cover but could reach out and touch people a submachine gun couldn’t.

There are enough well armed rednecks like myself in our little corner of east Texas that the probablity of thuggery riots is pretty slim. Heck I got some new toys to try out if they would like to bust into my house to loot.
