They need to bring the genuine God into their pictures, welcoming Him back into their hearts.
Then they can be fortified against this threat and come out smelling like a rose.

The grace of Christ will win the local scene as well as the eternal one, if we allow it to. If we substitute our own clumsy schemes, it won’t win and the devil will just mow us down forthwith.

Soooo, my great- grandfather who died defending America, (and the world) in WW1, and my dad, a Navy medic(with 3 purple hearts) from WW2 weren’t Christians ? Your defeatism, and/or pacifism under the guise of Christianity is wearing very thin these days.
