That’s wonderful, but I’d just as soon wait until the insurance adjuster has weighed in on the issue...

I know. We can just launch a space shuttle. Oh, never mind. That was long ago and far far away.

“Last weekend, for instance, the crew used it to watch the space film “Gravity.””
An unfortunate choice considering the current situation.
(Although an awesome, awesome film!)

I read somewhere that the debris is expected to hit the ground between May 7 - 11.
They didn't say where it would hit/land 😜

From the article:
"He's not sure exactly when." Never mind "when". I'm more interested in "where".
If it hits my house I'm suing, though I could use three tons of groceries.

The unmanned vessel began tumbling shortly after its launch Tuesday from Kazakhstan.

Good afternoon.
What was that quote from The Hunt for Red October?

(Although an awesome, awesome film!)Yeah, it was action-packed and Sandra Bullock was really good, and George Clooney was tolerable. BUT, if you realize the distances involved in space, you would know right away that the debris in orbit from an exploding space station would be so distant and dispersed as to make the premise of the movie laughable. The circumference of the orbit of the International Space Station is around 40,000 miles. That, my friend, is a hell of a vastness to have all of the remnants of an exploding satellite tearing through your own space station. Think about a car blowing up in Nevada and all of its parts ripping through another car in Australia. It probably wouldn't happen.
