BALTIMORE — A prisoner sharing a police transport van with Freddie Gray told investigators that he could hear Gray “banging against the walls” of the vehicle and believed that he “was intentionally trying to injure himself,” according to a police document obtained by The Washington Post.

There is no definitive final autopsy report at this time that I am aware of and I just heard that, ultimately, the final autopsy report would not be released to the public. If you don’t want to believe, that’s fine but that is what has been reported.
I had only seen that statement from a “Family lawyer”. He probably had his hand up too. Sigh.
No. I am guaranteeing the lab results will show drugs in the system of the victim. How else does this convenient revelation stay afloat? After all, six cops are at risk. The mayor is under fire. The police commissioner, also.
They don’t need a lab report that shows *no drugs* in Freddie Gray. This revelation by Mr. Prisoner Man is plugging one hole in a leaking dike.
If the only source is the family lawyer, whose statements are repeated endlessly by different media, then it is only one source.

The was a preliminary autopsy report and it was reported by multiple sources that this preliminary report only mentioned the neck injury.

When you can reasonably demonstrate that he had a crushed larynx, such as a quote from an autopsy report or a quote from a doctor, please give me a ping.

The source that asserted he had a fractured neck is the same source that asserts he has a crushed larynx. You are picking and choosing what you want to believe.

Where did I even consider race? Did I say anything linking color to the CYA going on? This isn’t really that hard, is it? No one else is having trouble getting the drift, here.
It is not a revolutionary event for those with influence to to want to color the evidence favoring a drug finding when your cops are in a predicament six deep, your mayor and police commissioner are under fire for incompetence. Do they need this to come out on the side of Freddie Gray? I think not.
