Depends on what you’re defining as “the West”. The EU is certainly founded on the notion, promulgated by Jean Monnet, that a stronger union would be “forged in crises”.
Those men are Swiss. Those bulky uniforms can hide a lot of things...

ISIS kills without regard. Additionally, they have a history of destroying historical artifacts.
1. I would be worried about the art throughout Italy...especially in Rome and Florence.
2. Yep...there will likely be an attack on the Vatican and the Pope.
And finally...if the above comes to fruition...we can count on Obama to condemn the actions in the strongest of language.
Nothing to worry about! The JPII kissed the Koran, and Francis says it contains nothing but peace, and that Italy should be importing more and more and more Muslims.

Many Americans are unaware that southern Switzerland is largely Italian. Much horse meat is consumed there as in Italy (seriously). That was told to me by a man of Italian culture from Switzerland, and I looked it up.
