Satellite pictures have revealed Kim Jong-un's regime are using anti-aircraft weapons to brutally execute people, while others watch. The images, which have been released by the Committee for Human Rights in North Korea (HRNK) and AllSource Analysis, were taken in October last year. Experts have analysed the photographs which appear to show the Kanggon Military Training Area, close to the capital city Pyongyang, being used as a long-distance firing range.

I wouldn’t put it past the regime to do such a horrible act, but some credibility problems exist with this article. I’d prefer some proof of the accusations over the conjecture of “experts”.

Yellow journalism seems alive.

The comments are hilarious. People actually think stuff like this about NK is made up propaganda. Such ignorance.

Kim’s uncle was reported to have been killed by being thrown into a pack of 120 starving dogs. The North Koreans clarified and said he had been executed (shot), also likely meeting his maker at the end of a four barreled ZPU-4.
With the dear leader at the helm, anything is possible.

Seems a bit speculative.
Sometimes a firing range is just a firing range.
It isn’t a bad place to organize an ordinary firing squad either. Out of the way, no bother with loud noises, a military garrison, backstops and safety downrange assured.
No reason not to use rifles on an MG range.
And, everything considered, even if true its about as merciful to execute people with heavy machine guns as small arms.
Better than feeding people to packs of dogs, as was once reported.

Yeah, there isn’t anything convincing in the article that this actually happened.

I doubt there were many ‘starving dogs’ in NK............or any kinds of dogs, for that matter................

It would certainly be a humane, instant kill as half their bodies would be pink mist.

Using quad 23 mm cannons to shoot targets 100 yards away is a bit...strange.

It would certainly be a humane, instant kill as half their bodies would be pink mist.

Which is why I also have my doubts.

I though NK's primary method of execution was to work people to death.

Bill Clinton was bribed by the North Koreans. Even gave them uranium. They now have nuclear bombs.

Given that
a) The victims are just as dead
b) The certainty and speed of killing match or exceed that of a regular small caliber fusillade

It doesn’t seem that the victims are subject to any extra cruelty through this method of execution.

The real “cruel and unusual” victims would be whoever has to clean up afterwards.
