GPS is too coarse to show micro-maneuvers (like braking hard in reverse)
Maybe.
I don’t have much experience with GPS. I’m still driving a car from 2000 so, it’s pretty much a Fred Flinstone type vehicle.
I also don’t know much about police GPS, but I would guess that if it shows speeds in drive, it would also show speeds in reverse, but that’s just a guess on my part.
Thing is, it just doesn’t make much sense to me that the driver of this van would be like ok they just put this guy in my van, on my way to the clink, I’m going to put him in the paint can mixer.
That doesn’t seem like something a person who wants to keep their job would do.
But look, if they can prove that happened, I will consider that evidence for sure.
It just doesn’t make sense to me right now.
