Last week, Family Research Council President Tony Perkins was invited to be on "Face the Nation." What was supposed to be a cordial conversation about the Supreme Court and same-sex marriage turned out to be a professional ambush.
Host Bob Schieffer pounced on the Family Research Council, calling them an anti-gay hate group. He was using discredited intelligence from the Southern Poverty Law Center. It was an ugly interview.

Looks to me like Christians have been enrolled in a hard school for showing grace under fire.
The high road here... would be to patiently explain the virtues of virtuous singlehood and dedicated monogamous heterosexual matrimony. Because the gays are not the only barbarians at the gate even if they are the worst ones.
I have immense faith that this is possible. Grace will need to be shown here. No, if the government embraces horrible foolishness, this does not knock God off His heavenly throne nor does it rob Christians of any Holy Spirit power. In fact, it may be part of the stage setting for “great exploits” (spiritually speaking) by believers. If everything were nice we might be lulled into not caring (and in fact, it is arguable that this is what has happened to America — Christians are victims of their own success).
Complaining about CBS or ABC? I don’t spend ANY time watching that “prapaganda”...

Oh sure they can have a natural marriage same as any other person can. It just isn’t paired up as man-man or woman-woman.

My standard retort to pro-gay activists is to ask them, from an evolutionary perspective, what nature intends if two members of the same sex try to mate?
This question assumes an evolutionary world view and innate or genetic predisposition to homosexuality. Both ideas are nearly universal in leftist ranks.

We need folks who understand CBSPBSABCPMSETC will not love you or treat you courteously.They are on a mission to FORCE attitudes to change. We need to better articulate and not defend but advance the position that homosexuality is no different than any other malady that afflicts people. We can allow them but we do not have to make them "special". I don't want an exception carved out to accommodate my beliefs. I want sanity to return to the populace.
