That may be true. When he was younger, our populace wasn’t ready for him. Now it could possibly be.

Bernie is a true believer. The meek and mind type that gets bloodthirsty when in power.

It indicates how radical Obama really is. Obama has had to mask his real beliefs and now his actions show that he thinks the same as Bernie on everything. EXCEPT that he is deeply dependent on Wall Street.

Just how many jobs will there be after he pushes his leftist agenda? Don't be fooled by his rhetoric. He is every bit the radical Marxist as Obama. When Sanders and the Left are done with the U.S. economy, we'll be lucky to have a few loaves of bread and a roll of heavily-taxed toilet paper a month.
Sanders is hiding his true Marxist nature now just as Obama did when he began his presidential run in 2007. As Obama is, so is Sanders, only he will be worse, because Socialist will have lost even more of the stench it once had for Americans.

I hesitate to say that his “beliefs are the same as Bernie”, because Bernie is Communist/Socialist/Marxist driven. Obama is Islamist driven. He has taped the C/S/M model to further his goals, but that’s because he knew these groups could be gamed without realizing it.
He has sure fooled them.

The Left and the Islamists have been making common cause for years now. The Baath Party was founded by Leftists who saw socialism as completely compatible with the principles of the founder of Islam.
The Palestinians, Italian Red Brigades, and the Baader-Meinhoff group were allied in the 1970s.
Communists, Socialists, anarchists, along with Iranian Sunnis, Shiites, and Twelvers all joined together to bring down the Shah.
Obama is both a Marxist and pro-Islamist.
The Left and the Islamists have been natural allies for many years and will continue to be so. Muslims in the U.S.A. and in Europe are catered to by the Left and they reward their patrons by delivering a loyal voting block at every national election.
There is no distinction between a Marxist or an Islamist. When the smoke clears and either are in total control, the boot on your throat will feel exactly the same.

I don’t see their objectives as the same at all.
The Left has this vision of a utopia facilitated by Communism. It is devoid of religion. It will be totalitarian in nature, but it is different than Islam.
The follower of Islam does not see a Western Communist vision. He sees a utopian vision facilitated by Islam and an Islamic Caliphate.
These are not two compatible political systems.
While one side or both may seek to use the other ideology to their own ends, at some point they have to duke it out too. They can’t co-exist.

Well, his biological father was a Mau Mau, and like Mandela based his hatred of the West on Leninist anti-imperialism. He was reared as a Muslim and I giuess that his respect for Islam is somewhat like that of a secular Jew for Judaism, as part of his heritage. There are syncretic blends of Islam and Christianity, and the Church he joined is so liberal that his view of Jesus is not as elevated as the one found in the Koran.

I agree. Hatred for the West is key here, because that’s the key to seeing Obama for who he is. He was raised to hate the West, and now he’s figuratively the top dog of that West.
He wants to bring it to it’s knees.
Islam should have a much louder voice than Christianity.
This puts our nation on death watch.

I'm not saying they will hold hands together. They are natural allies, and they will remain so as long as they have enemies in common, i.e., Christianity, capitalism, and constitutionalism. Once they have achieved ascendancy, they will turn on each other with a vengeance.
I believe Andrew McCarthy has a book on the current Islamist/Leftist alliance. It has bee a while since it came out, but it is worth a read.
