The First Amendment applies even to irresponsible provocateurs.

This author and paper recommend parents tell their kids, "Do whatever the bully wants, because you don't want to provoke him."

As Geller stated many times yesterday, do we let savages dictate our rights?

According to the callers I heard on Savage, yes. A more cowardly bunch I have never heard. To me, Pam Geller is a National heroine.

irresponsible provocateurs

Funny, that phrase was never used to describe the creator of "Piss Christ"...

If this is the tone now then we are doomed, unable to recognize a threat or disntiguish between friend or foe. The TROJAN HORSE is within the gates now.

This is scary. Why PROVOKE the Muslims when you can just convert to Islam and hope for the best camel or goat sex in the region?

The media doesn't know the truth about islam...and they don't want to know.

They do know, but they've chosen the "submit" option.

She’s not playing. She’s deadly serious. And she is good at what she does.

Perhaps. That said, I have liberal friends who watch the lib media and they seem completely unwilling to hear any truth about islam.

In fact, when I have told them some of the tiniest tidbits of the truth, they accuse me of cherry picking.

On the other hand, there is no doubt that they have submitted.

There’s a maritime term, “right of innocent passage” that allows ships to cross through other nation’s territorial waters.

The USN routinely does this. Just to make sure that the right is continually being exercised. The conflict with Libya in the 1980s was over them declaring the Gulf of Sidra “theirs”, drawing a “line of death” across it and saying no one could cross without their permission.

It took the airwings of thee aircraft carriers, plus the F-111s of the 48th TFW (and various support ships) to make sure Khadafy got the right message on that.

It’s when someone says you can’t exercise a right that it becomes absolutely imparative that you do so.

I agree. It was very tempting for me, I am a minister, to side with those claiming we shouldn’t prod the bear. But as I thought about it, I thought of the “Piss Jesus” supposed art. It truly offended me. But that didn’t rise to the level of my taking that artist’s life, and certainly not those going to look at it. The bible truly does say, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.”

So, what we have are people who are bullying others into submission. We understand incrementalism. An inch here, an inch there, and after two generations of that, we have a liberal/progressive disaster unfolding in our country.

With these people, an inch here and an inch there, and 2 generations from now we’ll be having LEGAL honor killings.

You can’t get around the fact that the liberal view of this justifies violence and validates it as a legitimate means of protest.

They do this by continuously questioning Pamela Gellar’s motive and pointing out that it wasn’t ‘prudent’. By doing so they give de facto legitimacy to opposition violence.

Watching the news shows it appears they all are trying to focus on whether it was prudent of Pamela Gellar to hold such a contest — which belies the point of Muslim extremists using mayhem and murder as a way to stifle anti-muslim sentiments.

If conservatives start getting violent and start a Christian Jihad against gay marriage, abortion, atheism, taking down the cross at Mount Soladad, I wonder if the news narrative would suddenly shift and the media start condemning the advocates of these anti-christian issues for inflaming the Christian Jihadists.

Finally, I wonder what the female journalists and their crews who have been dragged off, raped and beaten feel about the issues.

This is a litmus test.

If anyone resorts to violence towards someone exercising their First Amendment rights, then they cannot be in this country.

These two guys failed, but instead of being deprived of their citizenship because they won’t follow the law, they were deprived of their lives by people who do follow the law.

That drawing captures the essence of why this event HAD TO BE held.

I have a libinlaw that “slipped” and said that those who won’t serve gay “weddings” “need to be targeted”,

but I’m sure would say that this event shouldn’t have been allowed because it’s offensive.

Yeah, I believe the majority of “liberals” would “think” this way.

Thanks. I create and post memes in the hope that they will be shared across social media. We readers are literally a dying breed. To reach most Americans, snappy memes and youtube videos are much more effective than written comments among the choir.

If the situation approaches the point to where attending Christian churches is considered a "provocation" then I think the backlash will be devastating. Enough is enough.

At that point Islamoserviles in and out of government will no longer be able to control their fellow Americans' outrage -- actually this is liable to occur long before going to church is deemed too provocative to remain a constitutional right.

So the more immediate concern is protection from outraged Americans -- protection for Muslims.

Remote living accommodations for Muslims are strongly urged -- far from harm from violent backlash.

Don't like the idea of internment? Then help get the Islamists the hell out of America.
