Pretty extensive here. BC or passport PLUS two other sources of official documentation proving residence, a few other things, too. Not something some Mexican illegal can walk in off the street with a gas bill and a consular ID and say he’s American...
Here’s the requirements for the DL ID
1 document proving your identity, such as your: Valid U.S. passport (or expired for less than 10 years).
Original or certified U.S. birth certificate.
1 document to verify your SSN, such as: Your Social Security card.
A W-2 with your name and at least part of your SSN.
2 documents to prove your Georgia residency, such as a: A utility bill dated within the last 2 years.
A financial statement dated within the last 2 years
The voter eligibility requires that you be a US Citizen to register (using official picture ID) and to vote.
Until the repubs advocate the same thing.
