In an appearance on Monday's broadcast of MSNBC's Hardball NBC terrorism analyst Evan Kohlmann berated Pamela Geller and those who hosted a contest to draw the prophet Mohammed in Garland, Texas on Sunday night. The event ended tragically when two gunmen, at least one being a Muslim, shot a security guard before they were shot dead by police.
Kohlmann said that while everyone has the right to freedom of speech, the coordinators of this event were "standing by the principle of hatred for other people." However, Kohlmann did admit that the response to contest was "predictable."
"Everyone has the right to freedom of speech and it's good to stand by that principle," Kohlmann said. "But these people are not standing by that principle, they're standing by the principle of hatred for other people. That's their guiding light. That's what they do. They are intentionally trying to provoke a response from the Muslim community and unfortunately, this was predictable."
Kohlmann likened the event to shouting fire in a crowded theater. The terrorism analyst said the event was about insulting "people's ancestors and their religious symbols," yet dismissed the perpetrators as those who had "nothing to do with Islam." Kohlmann, however, explicitly said there are Christians and Jews "who have done the exact same thing."
"I don't think it is any great revelation that if you shout fire in a crowded theater, and you incite people and you say nasty invective about people's ancestors and their religious symbols, that there are a couple of crazy nutcases who will come out of the woodwork and are going to try to take action, but that has nothing to do with Islam," Kohlmann explained.

When Gideon destroyed the altar of Baal the people wanted to kill him.
His father told the crowd...
Judges 6:3 NIV
But Joash replied to the hostile crowd around him, “Are you going to plead Baal’s cause? Are you trying to save him? Whoever fights for him shall be put to death by morning! If Baal really is a god, he can defend himself when someone breaks down his altar.”
If mohammed’s allah is a true god let allah defend his own prophet.
But allah needs the weak arm of man to defend himself because he is no god, and mohammed is no prophet.
Names not capitalized because they are not worthy of being capitalized.
Why call it a tragedy ? I think it ended on a high note .
Why is Evan Kohlmann is such a Muzzie-submissive poofter?
"Concubine of The Prophet's men"?
Another major difference is that Christians are going contrary to the teachings of Christ when they do atrocious things, Muslims are following the teachings of Mohammad when they do atrocious things.
More like the happy, satisfying sound that flushing a used toilet makes...
I agree. A happy ending to be sure.
The department of redundancy department.
It's perfectly understandable, to Evan...
Yeah, I wondered what the difference was between what I posted and what FOE appended,
but I was just gonna let it slide.
To a Rational Person, it would have been a Tragedy if those Two Jihadist’s got inside.
Judging by the response of CNN and others, he Media would have Celebrated if those Two Jihadist’s did get inside.
Ah yes.
The notorious “pi$$ Christ” and “Book of Mormon” massacres.
Nobody can forget those.
Bagdad Bob comes to mind.
No doubt the champagne would have been flowing in the blue zones if Pamela Geller had been harmed...
It’s provocative, but well within her constitutional rights.
It bears NO resemblance to yelling “fire” in a crowded theater.
I’d say it’s about like yelling “theater” in a crowded fire hall.

> Timothy McVeigh!
Dear Mainstream Media.
1. Timothy McVeigh was not carrying out the orders of Jesus.
2. That was 20 years ago. Mohammedans are beheading, exploding, machine-gunning, slave-trading, raping, thieving, kidnapping, murdering, TODAY and YESTERDAY and the DAY BEFORE THAT ... and the DAY BEFORE THAT ... all the way back 1400 years to the days of their genocidal, raping, pillaging, mass-murdering, slave-trading, truce-breaking, lying pedophile polygamist pirate “prophet”.
When are more of us going to wake up to the fact that the left is actually conspiring and cooperating with enemies of America. They are shameless in defending, shielding, excusing and encouraging those who are killing Americans and Christians and want to do more of the same.
Soon they will be helping radical Islam terrorists by targeting us. The betrayal is worse than the French collaborators in WWII because now they are irrational. The left hates America and its values so much that they side with people who want only to kill or enslave them.
I would agree with his statement except for the use of the word “plenty”.
There are nutcases in every religion. But quantity and quality count. There is not parity here. Not even close. It’s like one guy driving a beater car that doesn’t have a straight body panel, and burns oil, and has a slipping transmission, ripped up seats, air conditioning that doesn’t work, break in the windshield that looks like someone head butted it, etc., and arguing that your car has a small ding in the windshield “too”.
Yes, the Varsity under Mohammad and his Disciples did exactly the same thing, but they also had nothing to do with true Islam - that is the First Given Half of the koran aka the Medina koran, wherein Mohammad had a whopping 150 followers ... it was when Mohammad cooked up the Second Given Half or the Meccan koran that he gained thousands of followers - but then that had nothing to do with true Islam, which he plagiarized from the Torah and the Bible.
Always the same retarded logic from the progressives (Pro-retards.)
