They don’t need to build more. Just announce the program today and declare victory tomorrow. There hasn’t been any warming since 1999.

No wonder we pine for them...

I say we build a fjord right through the reflecting pool.

The oceans are a huge carbon sink in general, not just the fjords.
Changes in ocean temperatures play a really big role in atmospheric CO2.
Just think of warm soda versus cold soda; which one keeps its fizz?

The problem, as I understand it, is that global warming leads to global cooling, which in turns leads to global warming, and so on, and so on.

According to their designer, Slartibartfast, fjords also give a continent a baroque feel.

According to the collectivist warmers, the presence of so much carbon would mean that the fjords are super massively fatal-deadly toxic, ending all life forms, like, totally.
And they’re okay with this?
Am I missing something?

Well then, we need Slartibartfast to design some Fjords for us. Won an award for them y’know.

from wiki
Geologically, a fjord (British English: /fjɔːd/, /fɪɔːd/; American English: /fɪɔɹd/, rare: /fj-/;[1] Australian English: /fɪ̝oːd/; Norwegian Bokmål and Nynorsk: /fjur/, dialectal: /-uɽ/) (variant spelling: fiord, especially in New Zealand) is a long, narrow inlet with steep sides or cliffs, created by glacial erosion. The word comes to English from Norwegian, in many cases to refer to any long narrow body of water other than the more specific meaning it has in English. There are many fjords on the coasts of Norway, Iceland, Greenland, Alaska, Kerguelen Islands, New Zealand, British Columbia, Nunavut, Washington and Chile.[2] The Norwegian definition of "fjord" differs from that of English - in Norwegian "fjord" refers to any inlet or channel
