Maybe Britain will be better off not belonging to the EU. Just a thought.

no one ever takes any European military seriously on this board. now that they are bringing together a dozen or so bad militaries that spend almost nothing, they will be a Good or threatening military? to whom? how many dozens of aircraft carrier groups will they have. How many thousands of fearsome tanks? Kind of looks like Germany too over Europe without a shot finally

The EU army will be there to control the citizens of the EU, not external threats. Since the citizens are unarmed it won’t be much of a challenge.

It’s the Camel’s nose problem. Once it gets under the tent it’s only a matter of time before the whole camel is there.
As time goes on, each member state loses more and more power and authority while the de-facto European Federation asserts itself. I would think the slope on that curve would start dropping precipitously upon formation of a EU armed forces.
Germany, the current apparent economic powerhouse of the EU probably floated this balloon, but with the increasing Islamification of the UK, France and other surrounding nations will make this difficult as well as maintaining the EU, leaving a good probability of an EU civil war in a generation or two.
So yes. An EU military is scoffed at now by the short term thinkers, but I bet there are some long term scenarios drawn out that involve a menacing EU Military, and Islamified Europe and a panicked Russian State consisting of whatever they can grab between now and then.

Of course, it will be composed of European muslims. And a lot of Germans will be really unhappy with what it does...

I’m not thinking this has any impact as far as prophecy is concerned.
