The Islamic State quickly issued a communiqué that included this: The attack by the Islamic State in America is only the beginning of our efforts to establish a wiliyah [actually wilayah, administrative district] in the heart of our enemy . . . [Spencer:] People who say our cartoon contest deliberately tried to provoke a violent reaction are under the apparent delusion that if we abide by Muhammad Atta’s advice to the passengers on his doomed plane on September 11, 2001, all will be well. Atta told the passengers, “Stay quiet and you’ll be OK.”

I was way too young to comprehend but few Americans despite our disputes with Imperial Japan had any idea of war prior to Pearl Harbor.

Sept 11, 2001 was the time to act domestically. There was action but it was a rush to protect the "religion of peace."

I say again I believe that there is a difference between Muslims and Islamists.

So as the Islamists here in the U.S. continue their attacks there's going to be a point where public outrage takes over.

It is time to talk about the difference between relocate and intern. This need not be a concern if the Muslims would stand up by the millions as the Turks have done to protest Erdogan and his Islamists AK Party. But.. alas..

after December 7th, 1941 people of Japanese, German, and Italian descent, the majority were U.S. citizens, were relocated. Those suspected of cooperating with the enemy were interned in separate camps Japanese I think mostly in northern California. Those relocated were moved to places in several of the states. One was Jerome War Relocation Center in Arkansas. wiki source, picture of girl on way to school

Because of Japan’s successful surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, many . . . felt that the United State’s entire western coast was at risk of invasion. Communities and concentrated areas of people with Japanese ancestry were suddenly considered security risks even though no acts of sabotage or treason had taken place. [IIRC there was also concern for the safety of the Americans of Japanese descent.]

Jerome War Relocation Center in Arkansas

Even though many were constantly struggling to make a living in this new reality they had been forced into, the internees left a positive mark on the local community. They showed the locals new methods of crop irrigation, impressed teachers with their hard-work in the classroom, and created distinctive art pieces that reflected their Japanese heritage.

Many citizens left the relocation centers and joined the Military.

No, we're not. Pam Geller is smart, courageous, focused and committed.

But if we were, we wouldn't be in this situation to begin with.

The Left pretends to think that the violence of Muslims is an EMOTIONAL reaction to insults. It is not. It is a PRINCIPLED reaction.

The two gunmen had not seen any of the cartoons, and had not heard any of the words spoken at the event. They weren’t “offended” at all. They were two principled totalitarians carrying out the mandate of their evil ideology.

The Pope’s newspaper, L’Osservatore Romano, came out with a condemnation of Geller and Spencer. As so often in the past two years, well-informed Catholics need to tell the Vatican, shove it.

Has anybody seen the winner of the contest? The drawing, I mean.

Duh. Just saw it. I was hoping for something funnier and ruder.

Leftist intelligentsia would rather see the freedom of speech restricted, and Sharia censorship imposed, rather than stand with someone whose opinions they find unacceptable.

Accurate and succinct. Nicely put.

The money quote......

“now it is clear: the Leftist intelligentsia would rather see the freedom of speech restricted, and Sharia censorship imposed, rather than stand with someone whose opinions they find unacceptable.”

If you want rude, Charlie Hebdo has plenty of that. Most of it is of a sufficiently disgusting nature that I want no part of it. Je ne suis pas Charlie.

This one makes an intelligent point.

Our intention was to show how easy we give our lives for the Sake of Allah.
And our intention is to show how easy it is to help you give your life.

People who say our cartoon contest deliberately tried to provoke a violent reaction are under the apparent delusion that if we abide by Muhammad Atta’s advice to the passengers on his doomed plane on September 11, 2001, all will be well. Atta told the passengers, “Stay quiet and you’ll be OK.”

They weren’t.

Good point.

I'm curious ...

Which US Citizens do you want to "relocate"? Where do you want to "relocate" them to? What do you want to do with their property when they get "relocated"? How do you plan to make sure they stay "relocated"?

What country do you think you're living in?

Please be specific in your answers.

What’s happening right now is the mullah in the white mosque is bringing thousands of Syrian (the first S in ISIS) mudslime “refugees” - NOT persecuted Christians mind you - to the USA for “relocation” to places like Twin Falls, ID. These people “cannot be vetted” because they are “refugees”. No one knows how many jihadi sleepers are in these groups. Catholic and Lutheran charities are working with fedzilla to accomplish this foreign invasion.

There is a lot of relocation going on but so far its not US citizens... so far.

An action which I oppose. We should not allow immigration of 'refugees' who will bring with them nothing but trouble.

It has nothing to do with the "relocation" of natural born (or even naturalized) US Citizens.

I realize that. I don’t think we’re at the stage of relocating American citizens - yet - but I do think we’re at the stage of fedzilla doing all of the wrong things on purpose. The feds cannot be trusted to do anything FOR us, only TO us. We’re on our own now.

It is incredible the different public reactions between France and the USA in such similar situations. One would think it would be just the opposite.

Fedzilla has been doing all the wrong things on purpose for more than six years.
