Kentucky can get cold in the winter. How do they keep the kids, especially the toddlers, warm in tents?
While it seems the state acted very heavy handedly, it seems intervention may have been warranted.
Permanent camping is what it looks like. You go go up in the hill country in several states and see life as this.....not so sure of the legal issues surrounding this but seems to me they should be left alone as they are....unfortunately the mother could have simply let the authorities check on her kids in the first place...she refused from the get go and the rest followed. ....unnecessary IMO.
At the risk of being crude-I doubt that any kid who has been on a family camping trip-or who is just plain skilled at eavesdropping-has not heard mom and dad rocking and rolling-I don’t think I’m damaged by knowing what went on...
There is a pipe for letting out the smoke from a woodstove in the photo-I’ve used one of those to keep warm-and cook, too-many times-even recently. If you have the right sleeve at the top, it can be safely used in a tent or a yurt.
You do realize that half the world currently lives that way?
And you do realize how many pre-adolescent children are exposed to hardcore porn on the Interwebs these day?
What's worse? Children learning about sex from prostitution-porn, or children being aware that their parents make love?
