I don’t think the school had the right to suspend anyone. If those kids were awful on twitter then the kids their hatred was aimed at need to sue for libel or something or if the law thinks that this is more than stupid words then they ought to charge them with a crime but they didn’t do it at school or even in person, the little twits.

I don’t know about Maine, but recent anti bullying legislation in Minnesota requires schools to deal with ALL “bullying” between students regardless of when and where it occurs. Horrid law.
