China is changing the populace from rabid chicoms to prosperous chicaps.

China put a few bucks in bert's pocket. Obviously China is our friend, right Mr. citizen of the world?

"The social revolution in China is changing the populace from rabid chicoms to prosperous chicaps."

Oh really? All of the available evidence would argue that on the contrary, they are merely becoming wealthier communists. And that is a VERY bad thing.

Have you not noticed that as China becomes more prosperous it also becomes more belligerent toward us and the rest of the free world? They are using their economic prosperity to build a blue water navy that can challenge ours around the world, and are otherwise upgrading all facets of their military, including now stealth development. And they have achieved this prosperity by ignoring your advice, and instead being protectionist in the extreme, as well as by manipulating their currency to their advantage.

You see, the problem with "free trade" is that it doesn't really exist. Many of the most powerful players, China chief among them, simply use our enthusiasm for it to manipulate us to their advantage. If truly free markets existed, I might agree with you, but unfortunately they don't on a worldwide scale.

Anti business? I believe in American business and free markets inside of the USA. Like all the founding fathers I am a protectionist. You are the one espousing Marxist Free Trade policies.

Who on this thread is arguing, like Marx, that free trade will destroy the middle class? Protectionists, lol.

When we get into a shooting war in Asia, the Free Traitors will cower in the corner. They will be found and hung from lamp posts.

LOL, let me ask you this, since you never comprehended that quote. When Marx writes, “in this revolutionary sense alone,” does that mean he was a protectionist the other 99% of the time? LOLOL

Since you cannot rebut what Marx said I guess you must agree with it.

your extreme limitation on business makes you anti business.

American business is now and always has been heavily involved in world trade. to suggest that is not so is just plain ignorance

Free Traitors are cocky now but they will cower like puppy dogs and be for mercy in the event of a hot war with China/Russia. Your day is coming.

I’m rebutting it right now, stupid. Who on this thread is arguing that free trade will make the proletariat suffer? (Hint: look in the mirror).

The USA won two world wars when trade was less than 5% of GDP. That is a pretty good track record. What do you got?

Komrade BERT is a gentlemen of the world and has thrown away jingoistic ideas of patriotism. Very good.

Those SOB's will be the first to run for the tall grass. Bet the rent.

I am confident they'll wait until the former U.S. is completely divided, dysfunctional, debilitated and choking to death on it's own debt. By the time these events occur the U.S. will be lucky to beg or negotiate a way out.

I have no doubt in my mind it's coming.
