Anti-Gun Democrat Lawmaker Blasts Girlfriend’s Car With Shotgun

One thing we’ve noticed about supporters of gun control is that they tend project their own temper/impulse control/mental health shortcomings onto others.
That is, they know that they don’t have the temperament to avoid using firearms when angry,
and since they can’t control themselves, they assume everyone else has the same deficiencies.

It seems like one of those anti-gun Democrats in Detroit proved his own inability to control his temper early Sunday morning,
as he blasted away with a shotgun to his girlfriend’s car over what should have been a simple domestic argument:

Sources told Local 4 state Sen. Virgil Smith, who represents the fourth district, fired several shots into the woman’s car.

Investigators walked out of Smith’s home with what appeared to be a shotgun wrapped in a garbage bag.
Investigators with Detroit police placed it in the backseat of an unmarked car.

Around 1 a.m. Sunday police were called to Smith’s home for reports of shots fired

Sources told Local 4 that early Sunday morning Smith and his girlfriend, a prominent businesswoman from Ann Arbor, got into an argument.
Police said the victim told them multiple shots were fired in front of the home at Wexford and Hilldale, on the east side.



Being an anti-gun Democrat in a Democrat-controlled city, Senator Virgil Smith has not been arrested for

assault with a deadly weapon,
discharging a weapon within city limits, property damage,
or any of the other charge
that the non-politically-connected might have faced for such obvious criminal behavior.

I think you're on to something. Anyone who is pro "gun control" ought to be immediately banned from possessing firearms. Far too many advocates of "gun control" state that firearms lead to crimes etc. - in effect blaming the firearm as if it were not a simple inanimate object.

I believe these types of people are projecting their own fears and fantasies onto the weapon. They fear firearms and their fellow citizens being armed because they know in their hearts they themselves cannot be trusted with firearms. Therefore they think no-one is capable of the discipline and self control to own firearms without endangering their fellow man.

In other words, anyone who says we can't be trusted with firearms is in-effect stating they cannot be trusted with firearms. All pro "gun control" people should be disarmed.

Here's something to consider about liberals, and conservatives.

The liberal's problem is psychological projection.

1. Individual A assumes that B sees the colour red as he does, until informed that B is colour-blind;
   
   
2. Someone who never lies is easy to deceive because he projects his truthfulness onto others, assuming that others are honest also;

4. An inept con-man fears that others are trying to cheat him, signals his fear and alerts others;

Liberals constantly project their own vile values onto conservatives, intentionally or unintentionally,
and they need to called on it, shamed on it, and laughed at to scorn, when they do it.

Most LIBs shouldn't be any where near guns or sharp objects. Historically, they are the ones who are irresponsible with weapons. Of course, that they are insane should be a disqualifier.
