Abandoned pet found on road with broken bones and deep bite marks

Thrown from car after being used as bait for blood-thirsty killer dogs

Somehow avoided traffic, but still broke leg and punctured lung

Rescued by two animal lovers who took £3,000 loan to pay for his surgery

Twisted dog-fighters got rid of a whippet used for baiting killer devil dogs by throwing it from a car at 50mph on a packed motorway.

The cruel owners tossed the helpless dog out the window and on to the road surface of the M56 in Cheshire after it had already been badly hurt readying blood-thirsty breeds ahead of illegal dog fights.

While it miraculously dodged oncoming traffic, the traumatised pet was left at the side of the road with serious injuries, including a broken leg, limb and a fractured lung.

“a fractured lung”

That had to be a new one for the vet.

People doing this are dead souls. Their spirit is seared so they have no feeling of the misery they cause to God’s creatures. That NFL quarterback is a prime example. He is dead in his sins and a beast in his life.

Tom Brady or Michael Vick?

What a cold response when you consider the fact that they took on a loan to help the poor dog. I see no reason to disparage them.

Had they demanded the state pay, OK. However, they did what they felt was right, and I for one agree with them.

There is a reason they shoot horses. Seriously.

If they were rich, this would make sense. But they had to BORROW the money. That is very BAD STEWARDSHIP.

When an animal comes up lame or seriously injured, the HUMANE thing to do is put it down.

Even PETA gets that.

So sad. Whippets are great dogs.

Just to make it clear, I value human life completely differently than animal life. I think it is cruel to cause an animal to suffer, but if one comes up seriously injured, I think the humane thing is to put it out of its misery. They are simple creatures compared to man.

I’m applying what I call a “Christian” perspective and the instructions in the bible on animal husbandry that are not allegorys of how to treat humans.

I love animals
I eat animals
Occasionally....
...I shoot animals
(Then eat them....but I may also hang the inedible trophy part on the wall)
It’s a complicated planet...I might have helped that whippet too.
I could have paid for a vet for it.....in extreme conditions I might have put it down.

We eat life, be it animal or vegetable or their progeny.
Cruelty for the sake of cruelty is abhorrent to me.

Exactly. I see it as misguided. But that is just me. Opinions vary.

That is still no reason to disparage them for their act of kindness and free will decision to help. The dog is expected to make a full recovery and is now a beloved family pet. It is their money and their own decision to borrow the money to help.

Yes, but one shouldn’t be silenced by fear of the opinions of fools. It’s how we get community organizers for president.

Our whippet/boxer is one of the most loving and happy 50 lb lap dogs I’ve ever met. A little vocal, but a fine animal.

Death penalty to dog fighters everywhere.
