Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R), a likely 2016 presidential candidate, faced off against a hostile college student on Wednesday.
The student, identified in reports as 19-year-old Ivy Ziedrich, introduced herself as a young Democrat attending the University of Nevada, Reno.
She quickly moved on to accuse Bush's brother, former President George W. Bush, of laying the groundwork for the rise of the Islamic State jihadist group (also known as ISIS). Ziedrich argued that the US didn't do enough to take care of former Iraqi soldiers after Geroge W. Bush invaded Iraq in 2003.
"The threat of ISIS was created by the Iraqi Coalition Authority which ousted the entire government of Iraq. It was when 30,000 individuals who were part of the Iraqi military ... were forced out. They had no employment. They had no income. Yet they were left with access to all of the same arms and weapons," Ziedrich said. "Your brother created ISIS."
Jeb Bush initially wasn't quite sure how to respond.
"Is that a question?" he asked.
"You don’t need to be pedantic to me, sir," she replied.

That is a very valid point, and one that has been made both by conservative commentators and army officers who were there.
Anyone who still defends the totality of our policy in Iraq (as Jeb Bush does) needs to get a handle on that point.
I’m not a big fan of Bush, but he’s exactly right on this issue.
The rude uninformed child should be informed ISIS initially emerged from North Eastern Syria, not Iraq.
I believe ill advised supplies of weapons and funding from the U.S. tag team of Obama/McCain (Graham) found their way to people forming ISIS, and the rest is history.
I also believe Turkey was sympathetic towards ISIS and may have helped out.

Not sure if anyone would have been ready for that one. To go off blaming someone for some that happened out of his control is pure madness. Yes ISIS had a small makeup of ex Saddam loyalists, but they all died early one in Syria. And Saddam was against a “Sunni Caliphate”. And the ISIS followers are following the quran, albeit they are a moderate form of Islam in comparison with Muhammad, Uthman and Abu Al Bukhari. Those guys were “extremists”
Right... but I a sure she would never hit the road with an army of well-paid/well-trained goons who will NEVER let her face the ‘WRONG’ questions.

Obama’s complete withdrawal of our troops left a vacuum that ISIS capitalized on.

My question would have to do with where this moron had been pumped full of this disinformation.
We need to get a handle on this sort of thing and start cracking down on the enemies of the state in our education system.

In reality, ISIS became a powerhouse in Syria, where they overpowered Syrian military with the help of the insurgent groups the Obama administration funded. Soon ISIS controlled 1/3 of Syria and had captured arms, tanks, jets, ordinance and supplies from Syria. Then they set their sights on Iraq. Not sure how you can blame Bush for this

My thinking is that Bush should run for president of Mexico. Those are his constituents. We aren’t by his choice.
