AND NOW... amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke... it is time for... that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-The-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him - do NOT doubt him - with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A real man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander-in-Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do — host. Get ready to what you were born to do — listen. And post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread.

He used to play it a lot in the late 80’s and early 90’s when he did a lot of “Gay Community Updates”

Season. During baseball season, a lot of those Yankees head back north. During most of the hockey season, they’re looking for entertainment in FL. I have a lot of relatives and friends that do exactly that.

Tropicana Field is not exactly Fenway Park. That stadium has a much atmosphere as a pile of cement. Amalie Arena has a Stanley Cup winner. Hockey is growing here. Also, Tropicana Field is hard to get to. St. Pete is nice, but most of the population are north and east of Tampa. The Rsys would love a stadium near the Fairgrounds (I4 and 75/US 301 area or downtown Tampa.

Glad the Rangers won last night. They had to fight their way back. Their fame team is doing well also.

The NY Rangers v Washington Capitals game was exciting last night! And the Hartford WP won the game last night (not the series) vs. the Hershey, PA Bears, the AHL club for the Washington Capitals. Game 6 this Friday at 7 at the XL Center...

Interesting... that's kind of what I expected. Thanks.

Oh my goodness... I couldn't agree more, LOL!! My jaw dropped when I first walked into Tropicana Field years ago. I proclaimed the place "an insult to the game of baseball". We've always had a good time when we've gone there, but it's an awful place overall.

Interesting.. thanks. I have heard numerous times that Tropicana Field is hard to get to. It seemed easy to us, but of course we don't live in Florida.

Also check out jjotto's post in #62.

What?? Snowbirds leave Hillsborough and Pinellas counties in the summer? Who knew?? :-)

(I lived in Bradenton and also in Apache Junction, AZ so I know exactly what that looks like - only the hardy hang out in summer at both places.)

Hope you are wrong. I think if the Wolfpack was afarm team of the Blue Jackets, I think you’d see fans in the seats. I think the Rangers is Not doing Hartford any favors having their farm team there.

Yes. This past season was UConn's first at the XL Center. Yale and Quinnipiac University both have great hockey teams as well.

Other AHL teams within easy driving distance to us: The Springfield (MA) Falcons and the Providence Bruins. The Springfield Falcons were the farm club for the Columbus Blue Jackets. Next season they will switch to the AHL team for the Arizona Coyotes.

NHL teams within a fairly easy driving distance.. Boston Bruins, NY Rangers, NJ Devils and New York Islanders. Hockey overload up here!

It is hard to get to, especially when the fan base is east of your home base.

The farm team of the Columbus Blue Jackets is/was the Springfield (Mass.) Falcons. They drew even fewer fans than the Wolf Pack, from what I've witnessed. We like the Mass Mutual venue in Springfield.. small and kind of intimate... very different from the XL Center. No seat is a bad seat.

The Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence (home of the Providence Bruins) is gorgeous.. kind of like a small TD Garden (Boston).

Next season the Springfield Falcons switch to the AHL team for the Arizona Coyotes.

I think the Rangers is Not doing Hartford any favors having their farm team there.

I don't know. We have some friends who still haven't gotten over the exit of the Whalers who root for the Wolf Pack. FWIW, at every game, the WP organization pays tribute to the former Whalers on the big (brand-new) jumbo-tron that hangs over the ice. "40 Years of hockey in Hartford"

My husband and I are Wolf Pack "partial season ticket holders" (10-game packs). We get to go to some interesting team meetings, meet the team party, etc. Upper level employees of the Wolf Pack tell us they LOVE having the NY Rangers as a parent company. They say they are treated very well by the organization.

Despite how much they will deny it when asked, women who live a lesbian sex style would prefer a man over a woman. The two reasons they choose another woman is because none of the men they would have sex with are interested in having sex with them.

That is why many lesbian couples fight over one looking at a man. Ann Heisch (sp?) Left Ellen for a guy.
