Importantly, chlorine gas by itself is odorless. When you smell “chlorine” around a pool, what you are smelling is actually called chloramine.

However, this being said, inhaling chlorine gas feels like a combination of fire and pain. Even a tiny amount is agonizing and lasts a long time, during which a person really *needs* to inhale pure oxygen. A good way of describing the feel is “lung convulsions”.

Ah, that ignoramus, Barry Obamination, is wrong. Germany made the first use of chlorine gas attacks against Allied troops on or before 2 January 1915. Chlorine was widely used before superseded by even worse chemical agents such as mustard gas. Earlier gases were breathed in; mustard gas could be breathed, but was also absorbed through the skin and resulted in horrific chemical burn blisters. Chlorine gas has been a primary chemical weapon since late 1914. Who taught you your history, Barry? Oh, I forgot, you're an ignorant Marxist Muslim putz.
