All this is taking time and classroom attention from the three “R’s” Reading, Writing and ‘Rithmatic’.
The classroom is not the place to conduct seminars on gender ambiguity, especially not when your ‘audience’ is a bunch of 3rd grade children, from various backgrounds.
This is proselytizing, plain and simple.
