"Are you on team Sunni or team Shia?"

Perhaps people are being condescending to you because of statements like this. This is real life, not some stupid movie about vampires and werewolves. I also responded to the question by stating I am on team Iraq, in other words helping to build a nation state which is how these people have to start thinking. This is not new ground, this has been done in Germany and Japan. Before that, we did it in the Phillipines. If you would have read what I posted and the article I shared with you, you would understand this. Instead you come up with sophmoric sayings.

Perhaps you are some brilliant well read person with a global understanding of the situation. If so, then it's getting lost in your sophmoric and childish responses.

If you actually care to engage in a real discussion, I'm there to do that. By your responses you have shown to not be willing to do that. You just keep saying the same things over and over no matter how I try to explain it. You don't answer my responses, just repeat what you said previously. It's not a question of whether we support one Muslim sect over another. It's a question of if we want to see the Middle East go up in flames, and possibly nuclear flames eventually.

It’s a legitimate question because we are asking our military personnel to lay down their lives defending some Muslims from other Muslims. We are requiring them to take sides ... and lay down their lives for one side or another.

As long as we are doing this to our military it’s only fair that everyone be asked to declare their allegiance to Sunni or Shia ISLAM.

Fist person who should answer that question is Obama, who seems to have been arming and training the “rebels” in Syria (read ISIS) and now sending our military to go in and fight the very people we armed and trained.

Next ask every person vying to be the next President.

It’s a more than fair question to be answered. It’s vitally important.

I’m asking people her on FR because I don’t think many understand what they have been asking of our military for over 14 years now.
