"A sign at the door, “no biker colors or vests allowed”. They’ll go elsewhere."

Gosh, does that really work?

Maybe they should have hung signs in Furguson and Baltimore. (Just kidding ;-)

I haven't dug into the details of the biker fight. But I have a tough time imagining that the business owners are somehow to blame for the altercation.

And, unless specific instructions or policy were ignored by the owners, I think the franchisees are scum to abandon their partners so quickly.

Does anyone know more details?

Come to think of it, if the bikers were gay, then the feds could force the franchise to serve them regardless of signage. ;-)

Yeah, it really does work. They don’t like to go places where they cant put on the big showoff thing. And the places who want them are easily found.

Furthermore, such places that put up signage forbidding colors avoid being claimed as turf. It works surprisingly well. The same thing is done with black gangs a dress code prohibiting sportswear.

Of course one or two of that ilk will come in without, but mostly they stay away. Normally its very important to them to strut around and for everyone to know who they are.

Yes, it works quite well. Bikers don’t want to talk to cops. You can call the cops to remove a person who isn’t following the dress code. The biker knows that means a check for warrants, a search, a search of the bike, registration, license, etc.
