The one thing that stops a bad man with a gun is a good man with a gun.
Stopping the trajectory of bullets with your body is so unrewarding.
And only liberals would thing a gun battle between the police and OUTLAW BIKER GANGS has any bearing on the question of whether or not you should disarm honest citizens.
I walked into a cafe down in Texas and saw a sign on the door. Because that establishment sold alcohol it was a FELONY to carry an unlicensed concealed hand gun onto the property, then gave the warning about how many years you could get if convicted.
Wonder if those bikers had “legal” concealed carry permits for their weapons.
Remember, with sheeperals, the actual solving of a problem is irrelevant.
The goal is achieved when the liberal feels good about himself for advocating that something be done.
The lib media has been trotting out the same BS for many decades every time there is a so called gun debate for any reason. Most Americans have quit believing most of their same old lies.
There were 27,283 suicides in Japan in 2013, and it's a much smaller country. And there are no guns in Japan that are in private hands.
So let's add more laws to punish the law abiding because the current laws are ignored by, wait for it, law breakers.
Silly notion. After all it’s just (the one word usage) commonsense. Maybe the law makers should “re-double” their efforts. So, does “re-double” mean work 4 times as hard or that they never did anything in the first place.
Considering the Guardian is a far left British rag, it will continue to publish criticisms of America no matter what. It should be noted that British citizens can’t own a pistol and the crime rates have exploded since their bans on weapons.....you can’t even carry a pocketknife with a three inch blade. People are leaving England in droves and moving to France where at least a third of the population are armed—contrary to popular belief.
What this idiot just PROVED is that with or without guns, suicidal people commit suicide! DUH!
The only other thing this idiot PROVED was that Liberals can use ANY situation to attack individual Freedoms! Shoot-out between LAWFULLY armed Cops and UNLAWFULLY armed Bikers = we need to strip the gun rights from those who wish to arm themselves LAWFULLY!

And yet, we're far from the top of the list of most violent countries in the world...we don't even top the list of industrialized nations.

Not a single static about how many of those tragic deaths are inflicted on un armed populace by both governments and armed radicals bent on death and destruction. I would venture to guess that that statistic is WAY lower in the US and countries whose freedoms the US has protected for decades than it is elsewhere in the world. Even at the height of the GWII, fewer Iraqis were getting killed on averagae daily than when under Saddam’s rule, and that was a hot mess by any one’s standards.
I bet all those bikers would turn in their guns for a $100 gift certificate at Foot Locker. Yeah... That’s it.
And no, we don’t react to gun violence by relaxing gun laws. We relax gun laws in response to a thugocracy elected in 2008. There is no doubt in my mind Obama has the same blood lust of POl Pot and Stalin and would use the same methods to control even more.
