I just hope Christians in this nation realize, when that time comes, that “the government made me do it” isn’t an acceptable excuse for denying one’s faith. Losing material things is a small inconvenience compared to losing ones soul.
Robert Gates is preemptively determining that statement. The thing is he claims that they have to keep up with the times and that legal action will somehow be a nightmare if they don't allow the gays in full force.
