That's as phony as the hands up phoniness. No memorial makes sense, except if his parents want to write something on his gravestone at his private paid for resting place.
Well, to do it justice, there should also be a memorial right next to it in honor of the officer who laid the sorry S.O.B. to rest. That will make it acceptable.
Putting up this memorial shows just how morally degraded this “community” has become.
Good thing he’s a former cop - else he would soon be one for speaking the truth.

The ‘memorial’ (i.e., pile of rubbish, notes, stuffed animals and other flammable material) also included a number of candles which alighted the pile.
It was NOT set on fire.
It’s so difficult to put up memorials to violent criminals.
