It might be worth the PR bump to waive the parents from paying, if that’s allowed.

Why? that only encourages the left.

This is why florida and other states have self defense immunity laws.

This case was about deep pockets and killing the second amendment.

It should be filed under frivolous cases. The group that used the parents should be jointly and severly liable for the costs.

I’d rather see the idiots fork over ... to discourage others. Bad enough that the defendants had to waste their time dealing with this crap ...

Absolutely. The arms manufacturer could easily say, “no, that’s ok, you’ve been through enough.”

I don’t agree with having brought the lawsuit, but I can also see people going through that kind of grief maybe not acting as they normally or rationally would.

Bloomberg should pay.
But if he doesn’t, I don’t care these people are communist, statist, bullies who are attacking YOUR constitutional rights and YOUR right to defend your family. They broke the law, they illegally made these companies incur legal fees. They should pay, they should lose their houses and live on the street. sic semper tyranus

Or it might be a horrible idea that encourages more people to carry on with their liberal ideas of ‘justice’ through unwarranted enrichment.

It sucks the kid died. It is not the fault of the mfgr. The Ammo mfgr should not have to be victimized the grieving parents or liberal lawyers and should be paid back all they spend defending this stupidity and far more.

These nutcases endangered the livelihoods of a lot of employees and had they succeeded, endangered millions of American lives by making it harder to maintain 2A rights.

That would be the moral thing to do.

Seems that would quickly undermine the law to the point where it could hardly be used.

Where does that end?

No waivers.

Bring a bad case. Pay the fees.
