Many think this should be our national anthem.
I have noticed recently (last couple of years or so) that many at MLB games remove hats and place hands over hearts when God Bless America is sung during the 7th inning stretch.

Kate 'bellows' the song and THAT is the way it should be sung -- not the weakly timid voices from many who sing it now.

I have to say that I’d prefer “America the Beautiful”, but either one would be a fair exchange for what we have now, IMO.
