It's time we have a holiday to honor those who try to stop wars too (extreme barf alert)

How about a Holiday for those who end wars early for political purposes, and announce pullout schedules?
Who cares if thousands of innocents get murdered following the early pullouts and shirking of responsibilities.
I know, we could call it Obama Day, we could all go golfing to celebrate and even drink a beer with the guy who hit into our foursome.

Nothing irritated me more than when Carter gave amnesty to those creeps in 1977.
IMHO those who thought enough about being against the draft to give up their citizenship and move to Canada should still be there.
I wrote a letter to Carter asking him to give my brother amnesty but received no reply. (My brother was KIA in 1968, USMC).

Yep. And to further demonstrate how monolithic is the support for the antiwar movement, and how grassroots the support is for conservative causes, I did this analysis of two protests, the first one from the 1987 Gathering of Eagles in Washington DC to counterbalance the antiwar demonstrations, and the second one from the conservative March on Washington in 2009
Antiwar Demonstrators:
March on Washington 2009:
It is not only the uniformity of the signs, but the content that tells you who is paying for things on the liberal side, the Che Guevara signs, the fist with the rose, the A.N.S.W.E.R. signs, and so on. I agree with what you said, I think most of the them are Useful Idiots, but I hold them responsible for their actions.

people, who, when called upon by their country would respond by declaring their cowardice publicly. I believe that the real reason a lot of them joined the communist-led "peace" movement was indeed fear of entering the military. It was never really about politics for them. They took on the 'cause' only as an excuse to avoid service.

I have been searching everywhere!
Here is another good one.
The Democrat Party was founded on Subversion and Power Holding.

If any of them ever truly STOPPED any war (from happening), it would be praiseworthy. Never happened, never will.

Peace though Fire Superiority!
During the second half of the 20th Century we had Pax Americana. Most vigorously enforced and brought to fruition by President Reagan - The Berlin Wall torn down.
We are the ones who stopped war - by stepping up to the plate and defending Freedom in far-off places under hard circumstances. Without our waging of the Vietnam War, scorned by so many of my contemporaries but successfully waged on the field, the Berlin Wall would never have fallen.
Now we are in another war in which our troops have distinguished themselves by exemplary conduct, operating under draconian ROE's, constantly undercut by an administration whose motives and agenda are opposed to the principals under which our Beloved Nation was founded.
This is an Administration bent on undoing the American Revolution.
It and its acolytes invite war upon us.
