Rand is a tool.
He composts or is compost. It was purely fantasy that he even thought he had chance, as Republican or with any party. Would be interesting to see him switch to Dems and run against Clinton and Sanders. He’d fit right in.
Paul is correct the connected wealthy did not suffer during the 2008 recession while the middle class and elderly savers took it on the chin. Thanks to Republican President Bush and his Secretary of the Treasury Hank Paulson (former Goldman Sachs Chairman) the Wall Street banks and investment firms were bailed out and paying multimillion dollar bonuses a year later. In addition Bush/Paulson gave us TARP and the initial bailout of General Motors. Obama merely doubled down on the policies Bush put in place.
We see the same thing now with the secret trade deals Boehner, McConnell and the GOP Congress are excited to approve. Whether you are pro or anti “free” trade, any secret deal cannot be good for the average citizen.
I kinda sorta like Rand, but he’s way too anxious to please way too many people.
That tells us what's not going on.
Good to know, I guess.
Even Paul followers cannot justify his positions, although some have tried using the same old crap....” What he meant to say...”. Its over for Paul, he knows it as do his followers.
Their main goal now is to keep Cruz or Rubio from getting the nomination.
nothing rand said make him a leftist. The Left don’t think the Right could be an environmentalist and we want dirty air, dirty water or don’t compost
No one on Earth doesn’t want clean air and water, what a ridiculous thing to write, playing into rat stereotypes of anyone who isn’t a green wacko.
His talk of “vote suppression” is suicidal.
He uses the term “person of color”.
I have a color for you Rande, brown. Mr Hanky brown. The color of your agenda.
Paul comes in third in one, and he comes in fourth or fifth in the other six polls.
He is clearly going backwards, and his name recognition is the highest it has ever been.
One bright spot for Paul - A NBC/WSJ national poll shows that Paul trails H. Clinton by 3%. All the other GOP candidates trail Clinton by 4% or more.
I can't vote for the guy. He is way Left on immigration, equivocal on defense spending, equivocal about supporting Israel, and downright dangerous on the NSA and CIA.
His plan to release non-violent “drug offenders” is insane.
As I recall, 96% of federal inmates accepted a plea deal.
That means that almost all drug offenders in federal custody were at one time charged with a more serious crime, then pleaded out of it.
And Paul wants to put them back on the street?
No thank you.
He’s the fruit that didn’t fall far from the whacko tree.
