When asked about the violence yesterday, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest suggested more gun control was one of the solutions.
Obviously theres some common sense things we could do certainly passage of some gun safety laws in Congress that could keep guns out of the hands of criminals would be one thing that we could do to try to limit the violence, Earnest said.
There's just a few problems with that suggestion. Maryland already has strict gun control laws. In fact, it was just two short years ago that new gun control measures were passed through despite overwhelming opposition.

I wouldn’t go to Baltimore to throw up.
What he really means is to make it nearly impossible for law abiding citizens to get guns in the hopes there will be fewer for criminals too.
Now, this I want to see. HOW IS THE GOVERNMENT GOING TO TAKE THE GUNS AWAY FROM CRIMINALS? ARE THEY GOING TO GO HOUSE TO HOUSE? OR MAYBE EVERY BALTIMORE CITIZEN WILL BE SEARCHED EVERY TIME THEY LEAVE THEIR HOMES? Every time these liberals, socialists and communists open their mouths, they keep putting the foot in it.
I can’t believe the American Legion is still going to have their 2015 convention in Baltimore. They must be insane.
Baltimore. Where the politicians won’t even let the police try to stop rioters hooligans and thieves. Now Obama sticks his big mouth in and tries to take away the people’s ability to defend themselves. No police protection and no self- defense allowed. The mass slaughter is coming ... Coming ...
Why do libs revert to labeling a proposal as "common sense" when, on no more than superficial examination, it makes absolutely no sense?
The problem is violent criminals, and making it difficult or impossible for law abiding citizens to buy ammunition and firearms can not possibly have any effect on the problem.
Gun control means taking guns away from non-violent citizens and deliberately and intentionally leaving them in the hands of violent criminals.
It’s not gun violence. It’s Black violence.
Street Sweep. Take the highest crime area, surround it and go in on the premise of an ICE check. Find illegals, ship them home. Find guns on people with records, confiscate them, check if gun is legally owned and if not, apply law accordingly.
but since I have absolutely no common sense at all, I have no idea as to what those things might be.
Laws work only for those that choose to obey them. The idea that some street gang member will comply? Democrats live in the dream world they’ve created and are astounded that people don’t obey the laws they write.
“Holder”. Nope. Now we got loretta lynch to deal with. Kind of a female version of eric the red.
It used to be:
‘When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.’
Now, it is more at:
‘When seconds count, the police are on the phones to their attorneys to determine the level of liability they could face is they respond to said call.’
This house suggests the White House can go to hell.
It’s not about crime and violence, it’s about terrified bureaucrats and politicians...
Sure. Now how are the “NATIVES” going to go for that? The “NATIVES” are already complaining of too many police. Besides that the liberals, socialists and communists wouldn’t like that at all, because they aren’t taking guns away from law abiding citizens. Don’t you know that the object of the excercize is to dis arm the law abiding citizen?
We should make Baltimore a police no-go zone and every time we round up black murderers and rioters, we should move them to Baltimore so they can be free and in a Black paradise and not raise the prison race quotas. We should relocate the Gov. mansion to Baltimore to oversee his utopia.
This is a cultural problem, not a gun problem.
Have they considered passing a law against shooting people?
Leftists don’t want to go there because that discussion invariably leads to the recognition the Western Judeo-Christian culture is superior to all others,
and they hate Christians and Christ.
