how many businesses have left, quietly closed, or even cancelled any move to open up there?
The mayor of prosecutor of Baltimore has shown herself to be utterly incompetent. A product of law school admission desperations.

In the 1950's and 1960's, Baltimore was a fairly thriving city--one that should have evolved into a bedroom community for the many people working in the Federal government in the nearby Washington, DC metro area. But the massive 1968 riots after the death of Martin Luther King, Jr., the subsequent
white flight out of that city, and incompetent governance made worse by Baltimore's political isolation from the rest of the state of Maryland contributed to its economic downfall.
Indeed, Baltimore is on the verge of being an even worse city than Detroit at the rate things are going. At least Detroit has finally taken major steps to revive the city, namely a massive reorganization of its finances and the start of construction of the Gordon "Gordie" Howe International Bridge, which will finally allow the city to transition away from dependency on the automobile industry to become a major transit point of goods transport between the USA and eastern Canada far larger than it is now.

All the time. Obama, “Reverend” Jackson, Sharpeton, all professional race-baiters, haters, rabble rousers, etc.

Good for you.
Seriously, I wish we all could look up into the sky and get messages!
I guess we have to settle for the more subtle ones we get every day.

They could have scavenger hunts for 20 knives and see who wins.

As the nation continues to unravel many of us understand that the thanks belongs to Lyndon Bird’s Great Society scheme.
Wonder how he enjoys hell?
