With scripture, Hillary Clinton wins over a voter

Columbia, South Carolina (CNN)Hillary Clinton is a lifelong Methodist, but you wouldn't know that by listening to most of her speeches. She rarely speaks -- at least at any length -- about her faith.

But the presidential candidate broke with that tradition on Wednesday when she reflected on her religious study and background, during an impromptu conversation with Rev. Frederick Donnie Hunt at Main Street Bakery.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------snip----

After chatting with the bakery's staff and picking out some cupcakes for the road, the presidential candidate sidled up to Hunt and asked him what he was studying.

"Corinthians 13," Hunt said calmly, almost nonplussed by the candidate.

"Oh I know it well," Clinton said.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud," the passage says.

Clinton told Hunt about her religious history and commended him for his continued study. . .

Yes, and love dismembers alive little babies in the mothers’ wombs and equates perverted same sex activity with marriage.

How stupid do you have to be to believe anything this ridiculous woman says?

The article quotes the verse as if it were HiLiaRy saying it, which she did NOT!

Oh, “i know it well.”

‘Then recite it’ is what I’d have said. HILROD IS A LIAR!

I was a Methodist until last year. Hillary fits in well with the theology, if you can even call that mishmash of free will and feelgoodism a theology, of the majority of UMC clergy.

Hillary: “And Jesus said, Ye shall vote for Satan! Look it up, it’s in Revelations somewhere.”

Satan tempted Jesus in the desert three times using Scripture.

The first lie told was by Satan in the Garden. The lie was about what God said, the word of God.

What a phony. I hope everyone who encounters Hillary in the wild will challenge her on the Bible, and they go up on youtube.

I’m thinking that the only way Hillary ever found Jesus is if he didn’t see her coming first...

Clinton told Hunt about her religious history and commended him for his continued study.

As in, "And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth."

"You're doing what is the most important thing to do, it's continuing to study and learn what the scripture says and what it means,

It would be even more important if she lived by what she studied and learned. I can't say that she's not a born again Christian, (all actual Christians are born again), but her politically correct positions on at least 2 issues that God's Word says are sin don't conform to biblical Christianity. Abortion and homosexual "marriage" for just 2 critical examples. Abortion is murder, and rampant homosexuality was one of the sins responsible for Noah's flood, as per Romans ch 1, vs 24-28.

I don't know what's in her heart, but I do know that she characterizes the murder of pre-birth babies and homosexual "marriage" as basic human rights.

ROTFL

"...Hillary Clinton is one of the few candidates on the political stage who has a plan for cutting the abortion rate in America by at least 50 percent. I know Hillary Clinton to be a committed Christian. As a teenager, Hillary’s religious beliefs were heavily impacted by hearing a sermon by Martin Luther King, Jr. The youth pastor of her Methodist church mentored her through her teenage years into being the kind of holistic Christian who faithfully engages in the spiritual disciplines of Bible study and prayer. As a Senator, Hillary was one of the most faithful attendees of the Senate’s weekly prayer meetings.

Given all that I have stated, I am more than willing to do all I can to help Hillary Clinton get elected. Should she ask me to organize an Evangelicals for Hillary committee, I would be more than willing to do so. I believe in her. And you should too.”
-- from the thread LAODICEAN APOSTATE TONY CAMPOLO SAYS HE’S STARTING ‘EVANGELICALS FOR HILLARY’

"I’ve loved every second of getting to know this woman with such strong Midwest, Methodist sensibilities, whether it’s her beginning a comment with the “discipline of prayer dictates … ” or answering a question of mine with “Well, the method of Methodism teaches … ” or reminding me of the value of a Sunday worshipping with my wife and children. She taught me about what she calls “grace notes,” recently reminding me, “You know it’s a gift that is undeserved but bestowed by the everyday joys, beauties, kindnesses, pleasures of life that can strike a deep chord of connection between us and the divine and between us and the mundane. All one has to do is be open to receiving it the moment it arrives and looking for ways to pass it on.” That’s pretty powerful. As one who has been on the receiving end of Hillary’s grace notes, I now find joy in places I once never even bothered to look. I hold a deeper compassion and understanding for those around me, thanks to Hillary....

....Hillary once shared with me that she attended a wonderful Sunday school class during her years in Arkansas. She loved the people, found community, but yearned for a deeper period of study. She didn’t lament, she didn’t complain, she simply volunteered to teach the class herself, writing lessons from Scripture, largely around the golden rule."
