Add 120# PFC Sally Sweetbreath, and you have basically introduced a “walking wounded” into the unit, where the men will have to take turns carrying her load, and helping her over obstacles, while not raising issues of privacy when going potty out in the bare desert, or jealously or love triangles or favoritism.

This is exactly what occurred with these female students according to the reports I'm hearing from a male student in this class. Now we have anonymous Rangers claiming the standards should be changed.

The goal by our traitor-in-chief is to weaken and demoralize our military, so that when the time comes, our enemies (China, Russia, Iran etc) will be victorious and crush us into the dust.

I’m sure there are some women who would like to play pro football.
“And if they could play, NFL teams would hire them; if they could meet objective standards, they could be Rangers. But they can’t do it unless the selection procedures are corrupted.
The only way the average chick is going to play for Green Bay, or wear that Ranger tab, is by ‘executive order’ or presidential fiat.
Obama is doing all he can to demoralize/destroy our military and hurt our country.”

AMEN!!

that Ranger School is more akin to a rite of passage – an opportunity for men to “thump their chest,” as one Ranger puts it – than a realistic preparation for leading in war

There's a lot of truth in that statement, but I suppose it also depends on what type of war you're talking about.

The “mule” can carry out the wounded female, but she can’t return the favor. He can carry in more ammo but she’ll have to borrow from him. Sounds like victory to me...which is the point of wartime missions. /sarc

Sally Sweetbreath must be treated like “walking wounded” on her best day in a combat unit on patrol.

The point is to weaken our military. We are being lead by traitors.

When your QB throws 15 interceptions in a row, what may you assume about his motives?

So much for not having special rights astwo of them say they passed now.

I would guarantee that these two women were given an easier pass after this so as to pass and this morning one guy told the media this.

I was having problems carrying the weight and she stepped up and carried some of my weight so I could finish the march.

HUH, so now rangers or those trying to pass don’t have to carry all their weight and can give it to others?

This is a sham by the white house and now the narrative is they passed and we did to make it easier for them.

I wasn’t there, so I don’t know and most comments are in the same boat. I suspect that they made the “standards”, but I doubt that they spent much time carrying the machinegun or the AT weapon. The goal is for the entire team to finish the patrol, so it would be a dumb move to make the female carry the MG.

The issue is not what happened with these two women, it’s what will happen when Ranger School is directed to normalize the standards so that women can graduate at the 40% rate for men. The women graduation rate stands at 10% as of today.

Keep hearing too how they passed and deserve to be rangers, but here is the problem and I faced it when the military were doing trials back in the 90’s.

We had a woman assigned to us in the Arctic during Arctic mountain warfare training. Yes she was useless and could not do the job to the highest degree like all the other, but the problems also arose about how she flirted, how some men flirted back. We had not seen a woman for 3 months by then.

Unit cohesion broke down, there were arguments about who should carry what for her etc etc.

Got back to base after living in snow holes for a week and she still went and flirted, the men were divided and it was all drama.

Even if she is wonder woman then it does not mean drama, and being flirting or sleeping around or getting pregnant won’t happen.

If women want a special forces then go and form a all woman one where the drama can be kept out of it.

Women, for all of the reasons you cited and more, should not be assigned to ground gaining combat units. That is coming, like it or not.

However, this course is not a qualification for any unit, and is not connected to any Special Operations unit. The Ranger Regiment and Ranger School are separate. The Ranger Regiment select their own soldiers and women may not serve in the Regiment.

The Administration has already announced that BUDS will be opened to women and other qualification courses will be opened as well. It will be a mess and soldiers will be killed, both men and women as a result.

Exactly, but here is the problem . The narrative of this from the media is about women passing special forces and I have talked to a number of people today and all of them have n idea how the ranger regiment and school work.

Enough with all of this social policy in the military. It was a fighting unit a killing unit, bozo wants it a peace loving unit to help other countries .
