He’s not saying the govt can’t get a warrant to look at an individual’s phone records and neither am I. What they have no business doing is collecting the phone records of every person in the United States on a daily basis. If the NSA thinks you are a terror threat they can go to a judge just like the cops and get a warrant to tap your phone. Its easy and takes about an hour. This secret FISC court is total BS. Ask yourself why everything is now a secret? secret courts, secret trade bill, secret everything. Its completely unconstitutional.

No it's not, it's common sense if you're dealing with a terrorist organization. Warrants are given but you are not made aware of them right away for the same reason that was already the law when dealing with organized crime-- because it doesn't help to alert the organization that they are being investigated.
