Waco Judge Agrees to Let Most Bikers Go If They Sign Contract Not to Sue for Wrongful Arrest
Washington Weekly News ^ | May 31, 2015 | Looney and Conrad Law Firm

“It appears the public defenders office in McLennan County is involved in this scurrilous activity,” said Paul Looney, a Houston attorney with Looney & Conrad, P.C. “I’ve never seen anything like the lawlessness that the authorities have perpetrated on these people and now to add insult to injury they are trying to cover their own tracks in exchange for bond.”

I swear .223 and .556 are louder than my .308’s.

Either that or I am just surprised how noisy a .22 can be coming out of a 18” barrel, propelled by 5 x’s as much powder.

/S....obviously

One explanation found in searching for an answer was that it was an alternative to the 1% diamond, and is what support MCs wear... The Vise Grips do wear a rocker, so that is telling, according to OMC protocol and lore.

“Most had gun shots”

During the second press conferences that day (7pm)(conservativetreehouse has it) I believe during Q&A, he was asked about casualties. He had reports from the hospital that there were 18 wounded (the ninth killed also died there).

Going from memory, to the effect ~18, most had gun shots, some also had stab wounds~

So he is standing there on the scene and someone relayed that information from the hospital, he had no direct knowledge.

I have not been able to find out anything else about the wounded. Medical information I can understand is private. Do not know their names or affiliation, but I remember from somewhere that they were all Bandidos or Cossacks.

Someone knows their names, club affiliation, nature of wounds, etc. I do not. It is pertinent information to the scenarios being discussed, being as important as the wounds of those who died — perhaps more so since there were twice as many.

I was in a motorcycle club from the time I was 12. It consisted of about fifty families. We rode races, acted as a team, and the parents rode poker runs and had dances.

We were not exactly 1%’s. Obviously most of the people there were not as well. I am not saying it was a family gathering by any stretch of the imagination. But being in a Motorcycle club does not make you Marlon Brando terrorizing a town.

Yes, actually I was, which is exactly my point.

Lay with dogs, wake up with fleas.

1 in 3? Really? That’s 33%, not sure about who you hang with but I know I don’t frequent places where 1 in 3 folks have been arrested.

I never said being in a motor cycle club made you a 1%.. I rode for years, I know quite well the difference between the 1% and the podiatrist, dentist, etc who had a mid life crisis and bought a bike.

I know quite well how to spot the 1% versus the rest, and knew very well to avoid any situation where those 1% would be around in any large numbers.

Which is what I said, if you ride, at all and don’t recognize that you are in a situation where that element is present, you are a fool. If you do notice that element is present in good representation and decide to stick around anyway, you get what you deserve when things go bad.

Lie with dogs, wake up with fleas.

A .223/.556 round, being long and narrow and moving at about 3,000 fps., does its damage by wildly tumbling when it hits its target. OTOH, handgun rounds in the most common calibers, are realatively fat, short objects that do most of their damage by mushrooming and just punching big holes in their targets. Seems to me there ought to be a big difference in the wounds suffered by the decedents from which it would be fairly easy to identify the likely shooters. Odd that the authorities haven’t released those forensic results as yet.

And in cases where the bullet remains in the body, it’s not hard to tell a .22 from a .357/9mm/.40/10mm/.45.

Just wow. You really are clueless, HJay. Just clueless.

So you rode a motorcycle for years. You still have zero respect for law and order.

The response should be, You are official notified of an unlawful arrest. Treble damages for willful violation of rights begins today.

Hi guy.

And in cases where the bullet remains in the body, it’s not hard to tell a .22 from a .357/9mm/.40/10mm/.45.

Nor a .223 or 5.56mm .

5.56mm
