There’s a big disconnect right there. If someone has a gun obtained illegally, how the heck does she expect someone to get insurance?,,,Wouldn’t it be illegal to sell insurance for an illegal weapon? You can’t get car insurance for a car you don’t own can you????
Actually...you can get insurance on a car you don’t own.
The title is in one name, and the registration is in somone else’s is perfectly legal in most states, but the registrant must get the signature of the title holder.
Just like a car with a lien on the title. The bank actually owns the car until you pay it off. you can register the vehicle and drive it, but it’s technically not yours until you secure the lien release.
