A new $tudy concludes that the upward trend of global temperatures didn't slow this century, contrary to previous analyses that suggested the world is in the midst of a global warming hiatus.
That apparent slowdown—which computer models didn’t predict—has been seized upon by those who are skeptical about man-made climate change and sparked debate about how long the pause might last.
The latest $tudy, published Thursday in the journal $cience, suggests that previous research wasn’t accurate.
The empirical evidence for global warming, they add, isn’t reflected in temperature data alone but a range of other phenomena, including shrinking ice sheets, rising sea levels and warmer oceans.
Temperature data, however, remains a crucial barometer, and the new findings could prompt a re-evaluation.

Even most of the die hard alarmists are now admitting the pause is real.
Someone go get the satellite data, again.
Choose a convenient range of dates, and you can make the data say anything you want.

so now we’re to believe that the faulty analysis.some would say down right lying...done previously was actually correct but the analysis done to debunk those previous lies are now debunked?.

And to think that people actually pay good money to read what is written in the wsj publication.
It’s confirmed by all the OTHER things that ARE NOT happening.
This also means that all of their explanations for why it wasn’t getting warmer, like heat being submerged in the oceans, weren’t true either????
Except, of course, for the ENLARGING ice sheets, NO rising sea levels, and NO indication of warmer oceans.
Except for THAT, they are 100% on-target! LOL

This same temp data was just dandy when it showed the trend they wished for. I predict it will become fashionable again at some point.
When I was about 10 years old, the local TV station started showing the Johmmy Weissmuller Tarzan movies on Friday night. Must see TV for young boys.
I started noticing that Tarzan’s yell was always the same, but when he needed the chimps to come running, it worked. When he needed the giraffes, the same yell brought them.
Little did I know I was presaging GW “research” methods.
It seems pretty obvious that not a damn thing is happening in this regard. For example, the ice caps did not recede or disappear in Summer. The ocean is not rising to any noticeable degree. Severe storm activity is DOWN. Temperatures either are stable or don’t matter anyway.
Yet these charlatans like Obama go places and say to the crowds “You all see the effects of global warming first hand”. What is that? An attempt at mass hypnosis - because I’ve seen nothing.
It is just more lies. It is just more fraud.
